  2. The science of how your brain processes habits.
  3. The common mistakes most people make (and how to avoid them).

  2. James – totally awesome. The work you put into this is amazing, thank you for sharing it.

I will be making sure to take action on these principles! Yes, I will make a habit of it!

  3. Excellent guide James, I can’t believe it’s free.

This is not just a guide for habits, but a guide for guaranteeing yourself anything you want in life.

The “layers of behaviour change” is something I’ll definitely be using from now on as you really pointed out how most of us are getting it wrong by focusing all our energy and time on the wrong layer.

Seems like common sense but it’s always MUCH easier to say that in hindsight.

    Thank You, James.

By the way, the only reason I still have data on my phone is so I can access your updates as soon as they come out when I’m at work on Mondays and Thursdays.

    • Thanks for the kind words, Andrew! I’ll do my best to keep the good stuff coming your way.

In the meantime, I’m excited to see how you put these ideas to use. :)

  4. James this is awesome! Just printed my copy off now and can’t wait to sink my teeth into it (have been a BIG fan of all your posts to date – your content is fantastic). Thanks so much for all your hard work.
    Cheers,

    • You’re welcome Kylie! I’m happy to help however I can. I’ll try my best to keep the good stuff coming your way.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this guide. :)

    • You’re welcome! Environment design is something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately. I’ll be writing more about it in the near future. Stay tuned!

And as always, thanks for reading!

  5. Hey James.

Thanks so much for sharing such valuable content. I’m always open to new ways of stepping up my life game. Something tells me I’m gonna find ‘em in here.

    • Sounds like you’ve found the right place, Cotey. I’ll do my best to keep the good stuff coming your way!

  6. Just read the guide. Good combination of ideas and common sense. One question though – how can you use these principles to stop doing something? Like stop biting your nails? That would be difficult to tie to a current behavior or schedule.

    • Cheryl — great question. I’ve had some other readers ask the same thing. I’ll add that to next edition of the guide. Stay tuned!
